This place is freaking hilarious. Let me give you some definitions I managed to pick up recently:

Flirting - When a girl talks to a boy who is not her boyfriend. Keep in mind that this only goes for girls.

Cheating - When a guy hangs out with a girl that is not his girlfriend. Even though he cheats, it’s not his fault.

Slut - A girl that “flirts.”

All these are some girl’s fault of course. It’s never the guy’s fault.

Haha, honestly, sometimes it’s so difficult being European in an Asian country that has outdated traditional values even though it wants to be more western. Ironic much? Geez, how are people ever gonna survive in a world outside of what they’ve known?

I swear, sometimes Tumblr has the most useless functions ever. It always saves a draft when I have already uploaded my post but doesn’t when internet shuts down. Now I can write everything one more time. Actually, I’m not going to. I’m just gonna ramble about something else.

2/12 exams done. Tomorrow I’ll have 3 exams, then 1 more on Friday. I’ll have half of them done within 3 days! I wish we had known how Psych exams were structured. It would’ve made revision so much easier. Now I’m struggling to cram everything I need to know for the next two Psych papers within the next 4 hours.

On another note, I officially don’t have to go to school anymore, unless I have exams that day. No more lessons, no more homework, no more grades…well, apart from my IB results, of course, which will be out in July. But I already got into college with relatively mediocre scores, so I’m not too worried.

I realized that I’m gonna miss this place. I’ve been here for the past 4 years and there hasn’t been a single day without drama. I’m usually just a bystander and I’m AMAZED how people can care about other people’s business so much. It’s incredibly entertaining, but then eventually you gotta get tired of the constant face-palming. Like…why do people always want to be involved in every freaking drama there is out there? Oh my god, that girl over there totally talked to a guy she’s not even going out with! What the hell, why is that even allowed? I can’t believe that just happened, it’s gonna have so much impact on my life that I have to tell absolutely all of my friends about it so they get upset as well. And oh my god, is that a post about me on tumblr? There’s absolutely no indication that she’s writing about me but I’m still gonna assume it is! I hope I can find some more business I can stick my nose in.

I think I just got off-topic…ah yeah, I wanted to revise for Psychology and Maths.

Gaaah, I still haven’t gotten the photos from the exhibition yet. It’s spring break now so it’s difficult to get in contact with people…well, also because I’ve been to the beach for 5 days. It was very nice and relaxing. I totally needed that! Anyways, there are about 25 days left until exams. Time sure flies fast. I’m very excited and so much less anxious, now that I’ve been admitted to college. I just enrolled yesterday and the only thing left for me to do is to revise and pass my exams!

I know I said I’d post every week…so I’m apologizing for skipping the last....

I know I said I’d post every week…so I’m apologizing for skipping the last. I’ve been pretty busy setting up my art exhibition with my fellow classmates, so I barely had any time to post anything. There are many photos of the show and I’ll be posting them soon, as soon as I get them. I’ve been feeling pretty anxious and negative lately, mostly because I’m kinda heading towards the end of my high school career and there are so many things going on in my head. But I do feel a lot better now. I can’t wait for the beach trip in a few days. I really need to get away from the city.

Time to head to bed. I really need to catch up on the sleep I’ve been missing out on during the past few weeks. It’s so easy for me to fall asleep now…anywhere! Tomorrow I’ll have my final two mock exams. Next week I’ll be mostly working on the exhibition, sending out invitations and such. I’m really hoping to get a good photograph of our promotion board in the lobby of our school.

So my mock exams are over. Well, not entirely. I still have two more mandarin exams on Monday, but I can lay back now. This felt like the longest week I’ve had this entire school year. Next thing on the calendar: Art Exhibition at the Fine Arts Museum!

I am seriously considering forgetting about my Japanese pens and switching to Staedtler’s pigment liners. I love the traditional pens, but the pigment liners are so much faster and so much more convenient to work with…Also, I think I developed better control with them. Hmm…tough decision.

I thought I might want to share this. I was required to record my thought process in my Investigation Workbook for IB Visual Arts. This is mainly the reason why the course turned out less enjoyable than expected.

This is the process of making Paradiesvogel. The idea of the concept and the experimentation with the colors, since this was my first time using acrylics.
